 "Technological
Sciences Center Civil Engineering Week"
Besides the investment made by UDESC-Joinville
(University of the State of Santa Catarina) in the Building
Installations and Hydraulics Laboratory, the Civil Engineering
Department counted on Somar's support to finish its
hydraulics laboratory as well as on lectures and courses
to graduating students.
According to one of the professors,
the idea is to develop, together with Somar and other
partners, studies through which students get to know
the processes used in companies. "Those partnerships
are very important to aggregate knowledge to the curriculum
of the student, providing a notion of the technologies
demanded by the market. Students learn how to operate,
handle and quantify besides obtaining a clearer notion
of those processes ", he says.
